Enjoy wine and running or walking?  This is a must do event! 

Join us on Sunday, June 13th, 2021 for an exciting new event that features the scenic views of Park Farm Winery and the great Wine produced by locally owned by Park Farm Winery.  Featuring staggered start times from 8-10am and contactless packet pickup to comply with social distancing and safety standards.  With registration options for all wine lovers, runners and walkers, this race is a sure thing for a great time! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing and results will be posted at 

Registration includes: A race t-shirt, souvenir wine glass, finisher medal and a glass of wine for runners 21 and older. Runners under 21 are welcome to participate and will receive a discounted registration during check out that includes a shirt, medal and bib (these participants will not receive a wine glass or a glass of wine).

5K Registration:  Run and/or walk the beautiful 5k course, score sweet race swag, and enjoy a pour of wine at the finish!  

0.5K Registration:  Loving the race swag, but not sure about doing the whole 5 km distance?  The 0.5 K is for you!  Score all the great race swag and the complimentary glass of wine, but skip the 3 mile run/walk!  And let's be honest... if you opt for the 0K instead, you're still getting your glass of wine :-) 

Awards: All participants will receive a finisher wine medal.  This is not a competitive race but it will be timed for those interested in their time.

SOCIAL DISTANCING UPDATE:   This race will feature the following guidelines to ensure safety for participants, volunteers, and event staff

  • Extended Packet Pickup Hours, Group packet pickup and shipping to your home address available.
  • Open Start Line (race will not start as a group, your chip time starts when you start the race)
  • Wave Starts (start times extended from 8-9am)
  • Open Area - start line and race staging will be spread out to maximize social distancing
  • Results - posted online only, all participants receive finisher medals (no age group ceremony)
  • Post Race Party - wine tickets are good any time throughout the weekend to reduce group size at the Winery
  • Free Transfer to Virtual Race.  If conditions change, or you change your mind, we will ship your packet and swag to your address
  • Social Distancing/Mask Wearing - participants will be required to follow the local health mandates in place at the time and location of the event but will not be required to wear a mask while running/walking.  Our pre-race email will have reminders of current guidelines and our announcer will encourage these guidelines at the event as well.


  • Is the race only for 21+? No, minors are welcome to participate and receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib (these participants will not receive a wine glass or a glass of wine).
  • Is walking allowed? You are welcome to use a stroller for this event but it is not recommended due to uneven ground on the course and children in strollers can participate for free and do not need to register.
  • Are strollers allowed? Yes
  • When is packet pickup?  Packet Pickup is race day only!  We have a super fast contactless packet pickup option, and you can also opt to have your packet mailed to you directly. 
  • If I refer 20 people do I really get 10 bottles of wine and $25 back of my registration? Yes! We have the best runner referral program!!
  • Is the race dog friendly? Yes, but please make sure you dog is on a leash.  Dogs are allowed on property and on the course, but no dogs on the patio or in the winery please. 
  • Wine's cool, but I prefer Beer!  That's not a question... but if we get enough requests we will look into adding a beer option!

Will someone < 21 yrs old win wine?  No Sorry... while the event is open to participants under 21, wine is only provided to those 21&up

The course starts and finishes at the winery and features several treks through the vines and a scenic loop around the pond!  This is a cross country style course and features a mix of road, trails, and grass.  With the many turns, it is unlikely to be a fast course for a PR, but it is guaranteed to be a good time with an epic finish wineClick Here for an interactive map

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup is scheduled for Saturday, June 12 from 4-6pm and it will also be available on race day beginning 1 hour before the race starts. 

Want to avoid the lines entirely? You can choose to have your swag items shipped to your home prior to the race for only $10 per person. Shipping to your home address is available until 5/30/21.

Eastern Iowa Wine Festival

The 5k Run/Walk will be followed with the Dubuque Wine Festival which will feature tastings from 12 amazing wineries throughout the region!  Consider staying for the whole day for the ultimate destination wine run experience!
